The idea
Most AI tools forget everything the moment you close them. Forge doesn't. It remembers your goals, your relationships, your struggles — and uses that context to give you guidance that actually fits your life.
Think of it like having a mentor in your pocket. One who knows your story and picks up right where you left off.
What we believe
The team at Forge believes AI could be so much more impactful for people than it currently is. The missing piece? Memory. Context. Continuity.
Without knowing who you are, what you're working on, and where you've been — AI is just a clever autocomplete. With context, it becomes something genuinely useful.
Memory matters. Context matters. And with them, Forge can help you in ways you haven't experienced before.
Our responsibility
I was 33 and a decade into my career when I felt completely stuck. I needed guidance — but not just any guidance. I wanted something available whenever I needed it, completely non-judgmental, and actually grounded in my situation. I looked for it. It didn't exist.
So I decided to build it — for myself and the rest of humanity. And the more I explored why nothing else had worked, the clearer it became. What was missing from every other option was memory and context — the ability to truly know the person you're trying to help. That became the foundation for Forge.
Then one evening, my wife said something that stopped me in my tracks.
"Wouldn't that be a strange and weird future? AI that remembers everything about you?"
— The question that changed everything
It struck me. She was right. This is something that needs to be handled with real care — with genuine consideration for humanity. Not just built fast and figured out later. Actually thought through. Not exploited for ads, tracking, or someone else's profit.
And then I realised something else. This technology — AI with memory — is going to get built regardless. Somewhere, by someone. That's not a question of if, it's a question of when. And more importantly, by who. And whose interests they'll actually serve.
At that point, it stopped being just a product for me. It became a calling. A responsibility to make sure this gets built the right way — with privacy, transparency, and the good of humanity at its core.
That's what we're building. And that's why.

Your conversations are yours. We don't sell your data, we don't train on it, and you can export or delete everything whenever you want. No catches.
Forge is AI-powered, not a human.
The slightly ridiculous part? We now use Forge every day to build Forge. It remembers our roadmap, nudges us about features we said we'd ship, and has genuinely made us better at what we do.
We didn't expect that bit. But it proved the point — when AI actually knows your context, it becomes something genuinely useful.
We built this to help you hit your goals — whatever they are. We hope it helps you as much as it's helped us. And if it doesn't, let us know. We're always tinkering.
